Mapping Journey

Since Saturday is my day of rest and relaxation, I spent the entire day preparing to do so. There was household chores, laundry, gardening, cooking, a little pampering and lots of research. For the most part of the day, I spent the majority of my time brain-storming and doing plenty of research. After all the whole idea of this blog is to turn a profit from home without a budget.

As I assist with this journey, I couldn't help wondering what landed me in this financial rut in the first place. Even if it was the loss of my father (who was also my project manager) or my farce of marriage that turned out to be a big waste of time and money, I believe all things happen for a reason. When you're used to having disposable income, rarely do you ever search for freebies. Instead you just pay for what you want then go about business as usual.

The thing is, if I were not in this position, I never would've started this blog and I most certainly would not take the time to search the information highway for freebies. When I started building my email subscriber list, I used a paid service to do so. When I wanted to purchase a van, I tapped into my corporate line of credit and bought a van. Now that I'm all tapped out, I've been presented with the opportunity to assist you in our mapping journey to start from the ground up.

So, first things first. Our goal is to make a profitable business from the comfort of our home without any financing. That means lots of work and lots of research. Figuring out how to do what you want to do used to be as simple as taking a trip to the local library to read up on the subject. Nowadays, if you want to learn how to do something, just head on over to Youtube and enter keywords specifically related to the task(s) you are trying to complete. Easy enough!  If you don't have a Youtube account. Go to Youtube.com and set one up.

That being said the first thing we need to do is monetize our blog. If you haven't set one up yet, here's the link to sign up and get your blog live on the Internet, www.blogger.com. There are tons of free blog platforms, but this one is quick and easy to get started plus it's great for beginners.

Here's the plan:
  1. Monetize our blog
  2. Post to blog daily
    • Introduce yourself in your first post
    • Write your second post on the subject of marketing and place a link in your post to www.sparkah.com/seo
  3. Obtain author rank
  4. Establish niche target audiences
  5. Link to www.sparkah.com/seo
  6. Obtain optin email subscribers via mailchimp (place a email optin form on your blog)
  • Setup free:
    • blog (via Blogger, Weebly, Tumblr, Wordpress, etc.)
    • setup Youtube account
    • setup Google+ account
    • setup  mailchimp account
  • Reseach:

As I mentioned earlier, I'm taking off tomorrow. After we finish the preliminary process of monetizing our blog, we can begin our mapping journey to marketing and advertising, but first things first. Next week we will dive into more details about how we can build a thriving business without using any cash or credit. Hopefully this video inspired you to take action and complete the tasks listed above. In the meantime have a wonderful weekend.

Work-at-home No-to-low Sign-Up Fees

Welcome and thanks for visiting Work-at-home With No-to-low Sign-up Fees. Today I would like to blog about expenses incurred as a result of having or starting a home-based business. No matter what industry you decide to do business in, it seems that the old adage, "It takes money to make money" is so true. Whether you're paying for insurance, utilities, office supplies, transportation and/or something as simple as your Internet connection depends on what field you enter. However, when the budget gets tight and you find yourself with limited resources, your priorities start to change and what was once a small luxury turns into, "How can I substitute this with something more affordable?"

The next thing you know, you're on the Internet surfing DIY (do-it-yourself) sites, trying to figure out how you can make your own deodorant that doesn't have aluminum in it and how to grow your own vegetable garden. My point is, we start to use what we have to get what we want. That being said, I had to start riding my bike to the library to get free Internet access. Since there was no marketing budget, I figured I would start this blog and assist others who may have fallen short from time to time as well. The economy can very well be an excuse, but who needs excuses when you can have productive results?

Since my funds are currently limited (almost nonexistent), I'll have to be creative in my attempts to get back on my feet. Sometimes I have more than enough and sometimes I have to make do with what little I have. Whatever the case, I have no time to complain, because I need to focus on much bigger and better thoughts. While doing so, I'll share my strategies, plans, goals, etc. with you along the way. Moreover, we can review different no-to-low cost business opportunities and share our experiences with each other. Find out what works and what doesn't work, as well as tweek and critique our future plans and projects in order to gain the best outcome.

There are lots of work-at-home websites, blogs, groups, fan pages, and direct mail opportunities out there, but there isn't one that specifically deals with the no-to-low sign-up or start-up fees. There isn't one that offers creative strategies to turn a profit with virtually no budget. That is until now!

I'm looking forward to getting to know you and thanks again for dropping by and helping those who may be even less fortunate than we are. Some of us have had an extensive and complete marketing strategy with a big budget and some of us have never had one; however, my mother always said, "If you did it once, you can do it again." It's time to do it again. Even the best of us could use some assistance from time to time. Right now a no-to-low cost budget strategy will do the trick where I'm concerned.

If you're in a similar situation at the moment, God bless you and know that you are in my prayers. As we move forward on our journey, I would like to leave you with these encouraging words,

Psalm 112

1 Praise the Lord.
Blessed are those who fear the Lord,
who find great delight in his commands.
2 Their children will be mighty in the land;
the generation of the upright will be blessed.
3 Wealth and riches are in their houses,
and their righteousness endures forever.
4 Even in darkness light dawns for the upright,
for those who are gracious and compassionate and righteous.
5 Good will come to those who are generous and lend freely,
who conduct their affairs with justice.
